Quick and Easy Recipe
This grilled chicken is not only super easy to make, but it can be made in under 30 minutes. Double the recipe so you have extra chicken to eat during the week. What makes this recipe so easy is there is no need to cook the sauce. Huge time saver.
The sauce is a delicious mixture of tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar substitute for a little sweetness, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
The liquid smoke, smoked paprika, and cayenne combine to give the chicken a wonderful smoky, bbq flavor that would otherwise take hours to get in a smoker.
Tips For Making
- For a sugar substitute, I like to use erythritol (Swerve), but you can use the sugar substitute of your choosing.
- To save time, the sauce can be mixed together a day in advance.
- Chicken thighs can be used instead of chicken breasts, but will need to cook a little longer.
- If you don’t have a grill, this chicken can be cooked in a grill pan.
