One Pan Bacon, Asparagus, and Egg Breakfast is the perfect low carb breakfast for spring. Heavy on protein and fat, this breakfast is perfect for the keto diet.
This easy breakfast is so delicious and tasty and only has 3 ingredients, plus salt and pepper. The whole thing can be made in one cast iron pan in under 15 minutes.
HOW TO MAKE ONE PAN BACON, ASPARAGUS AND EGG BREAKFAST:
- Cook the bacon until crispy. Remove it from the pan.
- Cook the asparagus in the bacon grease. Asparagus cooked in bacon grease tastes so divine. It picks up the wonderful smoky flavor of the bacon.
- Cook the eggs. Once you have the asparagus crisp-tender, add the eggs and turn the heat down some. I like to cook them just until the egg whites are nice and set because I like my eggs runny so that they are like a sauce on the asparagus. If you want your egg yolks to be set or partially set, place a lid on the pan and cook them longer.
- Season with salt and pepper. You can also add some hot sauce if you like your food spicy.
- Sprinkle the bacon on and serve.
I think these 3 ingredients are magical together, but for a little more flavor, add some Parmesan cheese or feta cheese.
