Air Fryer Spicy Chicken Fingers are wonderfully crispy with plenty of spice. A much healthier way to eat chicken strips.

Air Fryer Spicy Chicken Fingers

An air fryer is a great way to enjoy the awesome flavor of fried foods without the guilt. Your arteries will thank you for it.

These Air Fryer Spicy Chicken Fingers are first dipped in a mixture of egg and hot sauce and then coated in a mixture of self-rising flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. After just 12-16 minutes in the air fryer, they are crispy on the outside and tender and juicy inside.  Serve them with extra hot sauce to up the spice more.

If you don’t have self-rising flour, just use regular all-purpose flour.

In addition to be healthier, it’s so much easier to fry foods in the air fryer. It’s hands-off cooking, you won’t get burned by any popping grease, and there’s no oil to discard at the end, plus it doesn’t stink up your house like deep-frying does.

The air fryer also cooks foods much faster than the oven. I use the Power Air Fryer XL, but I have also heard good things about the Ninja Air Fryer.

My air fryer has a permanent place on my counter and I use it all the time, espcially for heating up leftovers. Super convenient!
