Air Fryer Fried Pickles are perfectly crispy without all the added fat and calories of deep frying. Serve with a zesty dipping sauce for a fantastic gameday appetizer.

Air Fryer Fried Pickles

Air Fryer Fried Pickles turn out much crispier than baked Fried Pickles and they can be made in just a fraction of the time.

If you have never tried cooking in an Air Fryer, now is the time to start. I adore my Air Fryer. It has surpassed my crock pot and my Instant Pot as my favorite kitchen small appliance. I have an XL Power Air Fryer and use it multiple times a week. Everything I have tried making in the Air Fryer has turn out fantastically. Especially these Fried Pickles.

They are first coated in flour, dipped in an egg/pickle juice mixture with Creole seasoning and then coated with panko crumbs.

After just 8 minutes in the Air Fryer, they turn out so, so crispy.

Tips for making Air Fryer Fried Pickles

  • Use a mister to really coat the panko coated pickles well. When you flip them over, give them another sprtiz. You can easily tell if they don’t have enough oil at this point becasue the coating will look uncooked and dry.

For a vegan version, swap the egg with garbanzo brine. Fantastic! Now you just removed any cholesterol!( I did a taste comparison and not one difference)
