For the last year, I’ve been obssessed with my Air Fryer. I have the 5.3-quart Power Air Fryer XL and I use it almost every day. There are so many things you can do with an Air Fryer. You can cook just about anything in one and they are great for heating leftovers.

Foods get super crispy in the Air Fryer with a scant amount of oil.

Sine these Air Fryer Sweet and Spicy Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites are wrapped in bacon,  there’s plenty of fat and no need to use any oil for this recipe. Got to love that!

These Air Fryer Sweet and Spicy Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites are so simple to make. Cut 2 chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces and wrap each piece with bacon, securing with a toothpick. Air Fry for 8 minutes, flipping over halfway through.

Eat them as is or brush them with a sweet and spicy glaze made from honey, cayenne pepper, and paprika.

These bite-sized treats are low carb and Paleo friendly and such a delicously easy appetizer.

Tips for making Air Fryer Sweet and Spicy Chicken Bites

  • Do not use thick cut bacon. You want your bacon to be on the thin side or the chicken will overcook before the bacon is done.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 10-12 bacon slices, cut in half
  • toothpicks
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into 1-inch or slightly larger cubes. Wrap each piece of chicken with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

  2. Preheat Air Fryer to 400 degrees. Place bacon wrapped chicken in Air Fryer. Do not crowd them. Cook in 2 batches if necessary.

  3. Air Fry for 8 minutes, flipping over halfway through.

  4. In a small bowl, stir together honey, cayenne, and paprika.

  5. Brush honey mixture over chicken pieces and serve.
