Air Fryer French Onion Beef Sliders- Hawaiian sweet rolls are stuffed full of roast beef, Provolone cheese and French fried onions. Flavored with a little Dijon mustard and a brown sugar/butter glaze.
These bite-sized sandwiches can’t be beat and they only take 6 minutes in the air fryer. So quick and easy! These French Onion Beef Sliders make the perfect lunch, party food, or gameday snack.
This recipe makes 12 sliders, cooked in 2 batches. It’s always best not to overfill the air fryer basket because the air needs to be able to circulate.
The french fried onions are the star ingredient. They add so much flavor without having to take the time to caramelize fresh onions. It’s like having a sandwich with onion rings on it.
The air fryer does a wonderful job of melting the cheese and getting the rolls golden.
Air Fryer French Onion Beef Sliders Recipe Tips:
- I recommend using Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. They are the perfect size and the sweetness really complements the savoriness of the other ingredients. But you can use rolls or slider buns instead.
- The type of cheese can be switched out. Swiss cheese, Muenster cheese or Moneterey Jack work well.
- I like for the roast beef to be thinly sliced. It makes the sliders a little easier to eat.
- For a little more zip, try using spicy mustard instead of Dijon.
- You will need toothpicks to hold the tops of the rolls on.
