Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken Legs- only 4 ingredients needed to make this low carb chicken dish.

It’s a quick and easy recipe that can be made in just 25 minutes. After 20 minutes in the air fryer, the outside of the chicken is crispy but the meat stays super juicy.
Ingredients Needed
The only ingredients needed are:
- Chicken legs
- Cajun or Creole Seasoning
- Black pepper
- Bacon

Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken Legs Recipe Tips
Use regular, NOT thick-cut bacon. The thick-cut will not get as crispy and takes longer to cook.
Do NOT crowd the air fryer. To get the bacon crispy, it needs to have room for the air to circulate all around it. Cook the chicken in batches if you are making more than 5 to 6 pieces.
For the seasoning, I like to use Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning. Don’t use too much of it. It is very salty and the bacon will salt the chicken as well. This is why salt isn’t an ingredient for this recipe. If you need to watch your sodium intake, they make a low sodium version.

Air Fryer Cooking Times Vary
Use the cooking time as an estimate. Cooking times can vary alot between models of air fryers. Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. If you don’t have a kitchen thermometer, make sure the juices run clear.
Don’t forget to preheat the air fryer. It will help the chicken cook more evenly.
