They make an awesome breakfast or serve them with vanilla ice cream for a scrumptious dessert.

One tube of biscuits will give you 16 stuffed biscuits.

Each biscuit gets separated into 2 layers, flattened, topped with a spoonful of apple pie filling and then the edges get pulled up and pinched to seal to create a ball shape.

They get air fried for a total of about 12 minutes. (Cooking times can vary between different air fryer models.)

They are then dipped in melted butter and coated in cinnamon sugar.

AIR FRYER APPLE PIE STUFFED BISCUITS RECIPE TIPS:

  • Be sure to seal the edges of the biscuit dough really, really well so the apple pie filling does not leak out.
  • I use Pillsbury Grands Biscuits. Either Southern Homestyle or Flaky Layers will work.
  • You will not use the whole can of apple pie filling. Store the leftovers as a topping for ice cream, oatmeal, or pancakes.
  • Give the stuffed biscuits room in the air fryer. They will expand as they cook and you don’t want them to stick together.
  • Depending on the size of your basket, you should be able to do 6 to 8 at a time.
  • Best if eaten within a few hours. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days and reheated in the air fryer.
