How To Make Air Fryer French Toast Sausage Roll-Ups:

  1. Cook the sausage in the air fryer for about 8 minutes.
  2. While the sausage is cooking, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and vanilla in a shallow bowl.
  3. Let the sausage cool slightly so that it is not too hot to handle and roll each sausage link up in a piece of bread. Press to seal the seams.
  4. Dip each one in the egg mixture, coating all sides.
  5. Place seam side down in the air fryer basket. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Air fry for about 7 minutes.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter, flip them over and brush the other side with butter.
  7. Air fry for about 5 minutes, or until golden.

Makes 2 to 3 servings. Can be doubled and cooked in 2 batches.

Recipe Tips:

If you want to use pre-cooked sausage links, you can skip the step of air frying the sausage.

Place a little water in the bottom of the air fryer drawer. It will help prevent smoking when the sausage is cooking.

Regular white sandwich bread works well for this recipe.

Different air fryers cook at different rates so use the cooking time as an estimate. I have 2 air fryers that I use: the Ninja Air Fryer and the Power XL Air Fryer and I find the Ninja cooks faster. Once you get to know your air fryer, you’ll get a feel for how to adjust cooking times.
