Such a kid-friendly breakfast. I like to serve them dusted with powdered sugar, with a side of maple syrup, and some fresh berries.

So quick and easy and there’s no need to stand over the stove. The air fryer is a hands-free way to make a batch of French toast.

The air fryer is my very favorite small kitchen appliance. I use it for so many things. I have both the Power XL Air Fryer and the Ninja Air Fryer and I love them both.

The only ingredients needed to make Air Fryer French Toast Sticks are bread, eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. I like to use a sturdy white bread and it helps if it is a little bit stale.

How To Make Air Fryer French Toast Sticks:

To make them, you’ll cut each piece of bread into 3 strips.

Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a shallow bowl.

Coat the strips in the egg mixture, sprinkle with cinnamon and air fry for 8 minutes, turning halfway through.

Recipe Tips:

Spray the air fryer basket with oil. I don’t recommend using store-bought cooking sprays. They can ruin the nonstick coating on the air fryer basket. Instead use a misting sprayer with vegetable oil.

You can also use a parchment paper liner to line the basket.

Cook them in batches if making a large amount. You don’t want to crowd the basket. I fry about 7 at a time. Leave some space between them.

You can make a double batch and freeze some for later.
