Skinny Funfetti Cake is a lightened up dessert with lots of sprinkles and a magical frosting. So easy to make with a box of cake mix.
How is this cake lighter?
The only additions to the box of cake mix are a cup of water and a cup of Greek yogurt. The Greek yogurt adds nutrition and protein to this Skinny Funfetti Cake.
The frosting is a combination of sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix, 1% milk, and light whipped topping. It is lower in calories, sugar, and fat than your typical buttercream frosting.
Made in a 9×13-inch pan, this cake is good for feeding lots of people and it is perfect for picnics and potlucks. Just because someone is watching their waistline, doesn’t mean they don’t want to indulge in a sweet treat.
This cake has been lightened up but it is also important to watch portion size. I like to cut the 9×13-inch cake into 15 pieces. They are big enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, but only 171Â calories.
This cake is so easy to make. It only takes a few minutes to prep and then 25 minutes to bake.
If you don’t have an electric mixer, you can mix the cake batter by hand.
Because of the Cool Whip, you will want to store leftovers in the refrigerator.
