Bacon Wrapped Pickle SpearsĀ  make a salty and sour low carb snack. They are great for gameday!

Bacon Wrapped Pickle Spears

Just 2 ingredients needed for this yummy treat. Serve with Ranch dressing if you want something to dip them in. Super yum!

For a low carb treat, it’s hard to beat something wrapped in bacon. Pretty much anything wrapped in bacon tastes good. Even sour pickles.

This recipe could not be easier. Only 2 ingredients needed. You can make as many or as few as you like. You’ll just need 1 slice of bacon for each spear.

To make them, pat the pickles dry with paper towels. Wrap each one with a slice of bacon and place on a baking pan. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. If you have a baking rack to put them on, the bacon will crisp up a little better.

Tips for Making Bacon Wrapped Pickle Spears:

  • If you want the bacon extra-crispy, precook it a little in a nonstick pan. You only want to cook it about halfway. Let it cool until it is just cool enough to handle and then wrap it around the pickle spears.
  • You can make them spicy by sprinkling just a little cayenne pepper on each pickle.
