Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 medium sweet onion diced
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 pound turnip greens, rinsed well and roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until soft.

  2. Add garlic and cook one minute.

  3. Add turnip greens, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
