Air Fryer Teriyaki Wings are wonderfully crispy and coated in a sticky, sweet and salty homemade teriyaki sauce with a little spice.
Season wings with salt and pepper. You don't need to use much salt because the sauce is salty.
Place in a bowl and toss with cornstarch.
Spray air fryer basket with oil and place half the wings in it. Lightly spray the wings with oil.
Air fry at 400 degrees for 22 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Repeat with second batch.
While wings are cooking, in a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice wine vinegar, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, cornstarch and water.
Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes to thicken.
When both batches of wings are done, toss the first batch with half the teriyaki sauce and air fry for 3 minutes at 400 degrees. Repeat.
