Skinny Southern Green Beans are cooked with turkey bacon, chicken broth, and onion until nice and tender. They soak up so much flavor!
Heat oil over medium-high heat in a Dutch oven. Add onion and cook until soft.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium-low and cover the dutch oven.
Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. For the last 5 minutes or so, I like to uncover the pot so some of the liquid evaporates. This concentrates the flavors.
