Balsamic Herb Vinaigrette- flavored with a little honey, this dressing is tangy-sweet with the bright flavor of fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill ,chives, basil, oregano are all good choices)
  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. Place lid on and shake well.

  2. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to let the flavors blend.

Recipe Notes

If you don't have a mason jar, you can whisk everything in a bowl. Whisk in the oil last, and add it gradually.
