Air Fryer Spicy Chicken Fingers are wonderfully crispy with plenty of spice. A much healthier way to eat chicken strips.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and hot sauce. Add chicken and stir to completely coat the chicken.
In a shallow dish or pie plate, mix together the flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
Remove chicken from egg mixture and dredge in flour mixture.
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
Spray tops of chicken with cooking spray.
Fry chicken in 2 batches. Place chicken sprayed side down in air fryer. Spray tops with more oil.
Air fry for 12 to 16 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip over and spray with more oil halfway through.
Repeat with remaining chicken.
Serve with additional hot sauce.
If you don't have self-rising flour, just use regular all-purpose flour.
